Frisco, Texas newborn photos with baby Amelia shot by Dallas wedding photographer Laura Miller.
Sometimes, I get to do something a little different from my normal Dallas wedding photographer routine, and today’s post is about just that! You may remember my sweet friends Jason and Kaycee from their Dallas maternity session from an earlier blog entry that I posted. Check that out by clicking here to get a little back-story on why these two are so special to me! After we did their extra cute Downtown McKinney Maternity photos, I was pretty stinking excited to meet little Miss Amelia Layne. I don’t do a whole lot of newborn sessions as a Dallas wedding photographer, but I knew that I definitely wanted to be a part of this one for Kaycee and Jason! The joy that Jason and Kaycee had in their eyes when talking about their new arrival was adorable, and I just knew that they were going to be amazing parents.
Fashionably late, the very alert little Amelia graced us with her presence 1 day after her due date on May 6th at 9:45 PM. She was 7 pounds, 7 ounces, 20.5 inches long, 100% perfect, and 100% sweet. Russell and I got to meet her on the Friday before her photo session, so I had already got the opportunity to meet her, but that only made me more excited to get started on her photos. I knew that her Monday morning session couldn’t get there quickly enough! Sweet Amelia didn’t disappoint. She brought her A-game to the session and the cuteness was in full force! But don’t take my word for it, behold the cuteness for yourself… and Amelia, when you grow up and need a Dallas wedding photographer, don’t forget to call Aunt Laura!
Also, a shout out to my sweet friend Ashleigh at Daisies, Bows & Who Knows for making the super cute bee hat and tushy topper! I just can’t get over it!
