Las Colinas Mandalay Canals Day After Session with Tiffany & Andrew | Dallas Wedding Photographer

Day after session with Tiffany and Andrew in the Las Colinas Mandalay Canals by Dallas wedding photographer Laura Miller.

Meet Tiffany and Andrew, a brand new pair of newlyweds! They contacted me recently about being their Dallas wedding photographer, but soon after they contacted me again to tell me that they were eloping in fabulous Las Vegas at the Little White Chapel! How fun is that? I was bummed that I couldn’t go with them, apparently it’s not super romantic to have three people in the honeymoon suite. lol So, when they told me they wanted to do some newlywed photos when they got back from Viva-ing Las Vegas, my excitement was back on! What can I say? I’m a little bit selfish. I love photographing couples in LOVE! (Okay, so maybe I’m cheesy, too!)

I met Tiffany back in the day when we went to middle school and part of high school together. We were both band nerds, she was representing the clarinets while I was getting my Trumpet on. lol I remember that she always had a neat sense of humor and was always fun to be around. Fast forward to today and she has now met and married her sweet Andrew and they are just adorable together. With the way that Andrew looks at Tiffany, you can just tell that he is completely smitten with her, and with the way she smiles back, it’s obvious that she doesn’t think he’s half bad either. 🙂 Honestly, I ended up doing a lot more kissing shots with them than I normally do, but I couldn’t help it. When they kissed, it was electric and their happiness is so evident, I just felt so lucky to get to capture that for them.

This session was extra special to me. Tiffany has followed my work for a long time and her support has always made me smile, and I really doubt that she remembers this, but I can’t forget it. She told me years ago that she couldn’t wait to have me photograph something special for her. I remember that it meant so much to me at the time, and it still does to this day. So to be able to finally capture something special for her just put me over the moon with joy. Seeing the connection between these two also shows me that it was worth the wait, they are fantastic together and I’m sure that they will be for many, many years to come. Thank you, Tiffany and Andrew, for letting me do this for you!

Here are some of my faves from their extra windy session at the Las Colinas Canals!
